Watch the demo video. As with all their videos, it's superbly done. And as with all of FabFilter's products, this one takes a basic idea and carries it waaay over the top. This does for distortion what Timeless2 does for delays.

Superb video & plugin by the looks of it.

Only problem is your productivity nosedives because you're spending so much time playing with all the possibilities

Just when I thought I was done buying plugins for a while this comes up! The interface is like Volcano 2 and Timeless 2. Those guys just are so top notch. I hope they are not going to charge too much for this cause my credit card is trying to run away right now :-)

Seeing this makes me glad I held off and did not upgrade Slate Drums to 4.0. This looks 100 times more useful for me.

Bought it this morning. Just got it all installed and was playing with it a bit. Very intuitive interface. Since I have other products like FabFilter Volcano 2 and Timeless 2 I am used to the modulation schemes. Really really cool stuff. I am just barely scratching the surface with it so far but for the price of $104.40 it is definitely worth it as far as I can tell.

Probably worth comparing it against the Melda multiband distortion plugin. Haven't done that at all.

got the email today, easily find a use for it in what I do, for lots of things, I also get the discount on it.. but it's a fair bit of money without it.

Dan has a northern "lilt" to his voice, dunno where.. maybe yorkshire / lancs or further.. but it's not really broad ... we don't all speak like dick van dyke ya know!! :)

eli from groove3 sounds like woody allen

the guy who does err their reason videos or cubase ones.. 1 sounds like he's from the dukes of hazzard and the other sounds like tony soprano

but yep, deffo gonna get this one. NI aren't getting my money , fabfilter are.

Well, James, it seems the only logical thing to do would be to pedal on down the road to Mr. Worrall's place of business, knock on the door and resolve the mystery once and for all. We'll be waiting for your report.

I've only lived in sheffield about 18 years, still a newcomer really! To be fair, I do make an effort to sound a bit more "BBC" in the videos, after I had to delete a couple of early attempts... my accent is probably more obvious in real life. ;)

Wherever you're from you make awesome DEMO movies! In the world of heavily partisan music software you are universally loved it seems. You and that Dave Pensado guy. I demoed Fabfilter VSTs partly because of your demos and now I have all the "Pro" series and the new Saturn also. You magnificent bastard!

Is the Sheffield accent anything like the Geordie accent?
