hey Jim great as ever, love the mix and elements you put in to make it fun and none-boring. i could stand a more gnarly and in-yer-face bass and Richard Roundtree on vocals, but otherwise, perfect!

Paul, Chuck, Mark:

The vocals, like all my funk tunes, is my attempt at doing either George Clinton or (as in this case) Bootsy Collins, who both have outlandish voices. To me, in context it would sound even more foolish to place my more natural white-boy rock voice on top of this funkiness.  If I had the pipes like Tony of Twisted6s, this kinda approach would never be necessary. So we do the best with what God gave us.

Thanks for taking time to both listen and comment.

Hey James. OMIGAWD, OMIGAWD ! I've listened three times now and I'll be going back for more! FANTASTICAL  STUFF. It will take me days of listening to even HEAR all that's going on here.  INSPIRATION for me.  And your lyrics! Talk about universal! Is the summing thought that we are ALL (in the end) paying for our crimes? Just my take. No voice crits from me. I think I can hear all the differant life stages in your song battling for prominance in the voice if that makes sense. I'm Sittin Tight...and waiting too...But not while this tunes playing. Thanks James!

Mad genius!  Simple but deep!  On my cans ... this is astonishing stuff!  'Pure robust entertainment'

Not my cherished fav of yours ... my old emo nature craves more hope and redemption ... like in your heart-wrenching orchestral piece (... that one I think is still my fav),

... but a solid and excellent pop-funk song this is ... many kids of all ages and races will dance to this stuff.  This has wide charismatic appeal and, methinks, succeeds splendidly for what it is.

James:

Thanks, Dude. As for the lyricaly meaning: there really isn't any. I wrote that "crime" line before I even came up with "sit tight", so I just kept it.

Phil, Tony:

Glad you like.

That's really cool, Jim.  Great sort of 'circle of life' idea that's so true.  Awesome performances and mix!

Hi there James

I have to tell you, I'm sat here smiling from ear to ear and tapping my feet listening to this.

The lyrics are perfect and really well thought out - he he and we've all been on that particular journey!

Performance and mix-wise it's flawless, as we've come to expect from you

This should be on the radio.

The work you did on the mix really payed off. I'm not sure how many "layers" you have there but it does all fit well together.

I'm maybe the odd ball out,but I'm not crazy about the vocals (ok go ahead and start throwing the eggs lol) The playing was spot on.

 A wonderful tune.
