Jamesyoyo,

Your composition, arrangement, and masterful recording are excellent.  I pray that someday I could do something like this!  You have raised the bar for orchestral composition in this forum.  I was waiting for some soaring melodic structure but was captivated with each "scene" you stepped me through anyway.  I am going to listen again through headphones.

Beaufiful job.

This is really good. The melodies are rich and full of emotion.

I can't complain about the mix at all. Maybe some more dynamic contrast. There are spots where thing thin out and it gets quieter but it still feels like the same volume all througout.

I do have a minor complaint though. It's a pet peeve of mine though with this style of music. There is good motion in the upper frequency instruments but the lower end lacks motion altogether. My pet peeve here is that this is a failing of modern day music. It seems that very few like John Williams seem keep the motion throughout. I guess I like everthing to move.

What are you using for instruments? I have the IK stuff but either I just don't know how to program  or IK's stuff is not that good. I can't get my stuff to sound a miniscule amount as good as what you've done.

Still, excellent work and a great tribute to your Uncle Ed. I'm sure he would love it.

Well done!

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.
