Yeah - I really love the freeze button on every track and it's flexibility

I also think the VX-64 is a terrific sounding plug - Now, if I could only get Nocturn working with it so I could map it...

To the OP

You mean there are new features in the new version. I thought is was just paying for the decimal point increase from .3 to .5
Only Kidding.

Well I have to say that I really like the new Vocal Strip

My Favorite feature: 8.5.1 has the Best audio engine ever.  Less crashes and dropouts  -> more time to make music and less coffee breaks during system reboots.

I know, it's boring...

This is a great thread because it alerts me to things I may have missed. Heck I have learned a few things here. Neat!

Much more stable VST plugins in 64bit OS.  Session Drummer now has swing.  Percussion processor makes it much easier to put ~ZAP~ into drum tracks.  Step sequencer much improved.  If the stuff I haven't even gotten to yet is as good as what I have tried I'll be deliriously happy with the value for the money paid.  Just the improved stability of the 64-bit OS with the plugins (improved bitbridge?) has eliminated a major source of frustration/disappointment with 8.0.  Well done.

Couple of guitars, a bass, bunch of plugins, not enough time....

It was Session Drummer 3

Is Session Drummer 3 a reasonable replacement for EZDrummer, or are they different beasts?

Many... I haven't d´had time to check it out yet but... Select a clip with "Left-click" = stop scrolling.... that's great  missed that for long time...

Also better integration between 32bit to ----> 64bit! That's awesome. Omnisphere opens much faster now also
