if I still used Amplitube I would probably jump on this but, I'm not gunna. it's IK - it will be in a bundle, on sale, included with something soon so I can wait until that happens. still Fender tube amps. hard to pass up.

Are these all new amps (not included in the 1st version)? Like MC, I'll wait for GB or big sale.....patience is the game with IK.

I just sprung for TS Max, so I'll have plenty of AT toys to keep me busy without this. The first Fender, Mesa, Orange and Soldano are all WAY better than Fender 2 anyway

I have 12 jam points that was reduced last time I checked down to 6 or something in a web update something or other. I don't play the jam points/gear thing - it messes my head way to much. when I pay I pay with cash and get a product, all that my little pea brain can handle.

You can use JamPoints to purchase Gear Credits. If you purchase the 100 Gear Credit pack and have enough JamPoints for the full 30% off, you can get that for around $56 and use those Gear Credits in Custom Shop to get the Fender Collection 2 pre-order.

Welp...please excuse my thickheadedness...but I don't understand a thing you just said.
So, before we get into Johnny has two apples and gives one to his friend Tony, then they each board two different trains headed toward Boston, one which is going 60 miles an hour and the other which is going 70 miles an hour only Johnny is getting off at New Milford, and Tony is getting off at Watertown, so given that it takes roughly 13 minutes to eat an average apple, what is Tony's mother's maiden name territory just riddle me this...
I have 69 gear credits. And I have 169 jam points. Can I get this new Fender 2 edition without putting up any money from my wallet, savings, bank account, credit or debit card, first born child or basket of farm raised goods???
And if so...how??

i would say no, you would need to purchase 31 gear credits. you could purchase a 50 gear credits pack for 39.99 and use 11.997 jam points (11 or 12 whatever it lets you-30%) to purchase the credits, so the 50 gear credits would cost you 28 clams, and then purchase the fender 2 pack with 100 of your 119 gear credits (if my calculations are correct) via custom shop

buy 50 gear credits which are on sale now for $40. Use 30% or 12 jam points during purchase. Makes it $28. Bob's your uncle. If you want to redo the thing using farm raised goods PM me.

Sorry if some are confused by JamPoints and Gear Credits. You can use JamPoints to save up to 30% off products on our web shop. Gear Credits are used as currency to purchase gear in Custom Shop. You can use JamPoints to purchase Gear Credit packs. This is precisely why you cannot take a further JamPoints discount on gear purchased with Gear Credits (as you'd have already used the JamPoints at the point of purchase of the Gear Credits). JamPoints are explained at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/jampoints/ if anybody is still confused.

I am still a dumbass. If I had 99 gear credits I could just use those instead of money right? I have 69 which is approximately 30% less than what I need to make the buy. Jam points can count up to 30% of a purchase, right? I don't see why I'd need to buy more than 5-10 tops of new gear credits to get this. What am I missing here? NEVER MIND>>>I just read Chumley's explanation of Jam Points posted just above while I was typing. I am enlightened. The scales have fallen. Huzzah!! Will do as my ol pal, BassDaddy suggests and then STFU. At least for the nonce.

I wish the would have put more black/silverface amps in the new pack and not almost all tweeds. When they come out with a pack with a Vibrolux and Quad Reverb I'll be waiting at the door with a basket of farm raised goods! I will buy this one too. If I can dig up a few more turnips. Ah turnips. The root crop for people who love vegetables that smell like feet. "Pass them turnips Cletus, the "possum's already ruined my breath for the rest of the day."

I think that most of the misunderstanding of the IK system comes from the fact that you can't use Jampoints in the Custom Shop and you can't use Gear Credits in the IK online store. Here's how I look at it: Gear Credits are tokens to buy IK gear. They can only be used for purchases in the Custom Shop. You can buy Gear Credits in the Custom Shop or the on line store. Jam Points are rewards for repeat customers and can be used like cash for up to 30% of a purchase in the IK Online store. Here's the rub - If you purchase your Gear Credits in the IK online store you can use your Jampoints to save up to 30% on the purchase price. If you purchase the same Gear Credits in the Custom Shop you won't have the benefit of using your Jampoints. So it makes sense to guy your Gear Credits in the IK online store if you have Jampoints. Okay Ol' Pal head over to the IK store and pick up 50 gear credits and use Jampoints for 30%of your purchase ( $28ish ). Launch the Custom Shop and enter your newly purchased gear credits code. This will add 50 credits to your balance and you will be able to purchase Fender 2 and leave the remaining gear credit balance in tact. Hopefully IK will someday figure out a way to marry the jampoint and gear credit systems together but for now if you jump through a few hoops you end up with get a good deal. Rocky

Slight correction: You can indeed use JamPoints when purchasing Gear Credit packs in Custom Shop, not just when purchasing them in the IK Store:

This ^^^is exactly what needs to happen in avoiding all this unnecessary confusion every time......it seems like the IK Store, and Custom Shop/Gear Credits are different entities, while jam points are just stuck in the middle. Gear Credits are a form of currency in Custom Shop, you can use JamPoints toward purchasing them. They aren't currently disassociated and seem "married" already. I see some posts in this thread have cleared up a lot of confusion and corrected a slight error.
