I will "never" communicate with the person who calls them self "Bobby" again, "EVER!"  I say that because "it said we were all morons if we believed it's name was Bobby?" It said that? Not me? I'm merely repeating what it said.

They/it are/is  blocked?  From my perspective? And BLOCKED they/it shall remain... I'm sure it will attempt to crawl back with an apology of some kind? And with supplication? But it is a disease... It is a cancer! It is legion... And it will ultimately attempt to destroy whatever it touches... It is evil and should be shunned "IMO."

Oh, and hey, really a good job on this tune! :-)

All you need is love, just ask the Beatles?

And in case people didn't know? It posts under "multiple?" user names? It will attempt to bury posters with which it does not agree? You can see its fingerprints? It will never post a song under it's allisus? But will instead comment in an effort not to appreciate the works of those on which it posts? But instead, in an effort to bury posts of those with which it chooses objectionable... You can consider this nonsense? But it is a fact. "It is EVIL! And should be avoided at all costs..."

Hi Janet,

This was great. :)

I watched the video version of it on Youtube. How'd you get a super model to be in your video like that, let alone one who could play piano that good? :)

I watched the video and it sounded fine. Of course with me, music always sounds better in my head then making it physical reality. I would never use the audio of a videocam when you can tape it while playing it into the DAW. Then line it up and keep the audio of the videocam down all the way while using the DAW version after lining it up. Not all that hard to do either with movie programs (even a cheap one).

Good job. Thumbs up!

Robby, please be quiet, K?

Thanks, Bub. :)

Thanks Spacealf. On my other videos, I played live at recitals, so I couldn't do it on my DAW. When I saw Terry play his song on his keyboard hooked up to his DAW it sorta dawned on me that I could do that too. (I know...I'm slow!) I probably shoulda fixed my hair a little bit more for the camera, but oh well. lol (I thought it was just going to show the keyboard and my hands.)

I was thinking it would have been nice to see your face at least occassionally during the video.  but it was a great video!  just making suggestions for the future.

I actually turned to the camera at the end, but it looked really stupid, so I deleted that part.  I only like about 10% of pictures of me.  That wasn't part of the 10%.  I suppose I could have turned the piano around...never thought of that.  If I ever learn another song, I may try that. :)

Agrees with Reece...I wanted to see your face too as well as a smile like "yeah, how do ya like me now...bow down!" Hahahaha! Great video Janet...incredible playing and  really enjoyed that version you came up with. It made me almost pull out my guitar and try to turn it into a rock song...almost...I didn't though! Because you know...then we'd have a clash of who wants to be louder and well, you always win and I'd have to take drastic measures and cheat using my experience! Hahaha! Awesome job. :)

I have no idea what you are posting about, bandontherun 19.
Of course my videocamera is old, and so am I, so necessarily, I doubt if anyone would want to see me, and I just don't feel to put myself on camera without ya know having someone do the makeup and all that stuff that is needed. Just don't care to be on camera unless it's bad lighting and real far away. I never thought about live though, since I doubt if I will ever be doing that again. Well, off to somewhere else.

Danny, unfortunately, I look pretty serious when I play the piano.  Not a good trait for a showman, I know.  :(  Oh, well.  You'll have to be content being mesmerized by those fingers.  lol.  And you know what?  I can totally hear some crazy lead guitar on this one.  Maybe not WITH the piano cause there might not be enough room on the stage.  But if you wanna try your hand with this arrangement, I'd love to hear it!

Thanks for stopping by, JC.  Glad to see you around again.  ;)

I watched the vid Janet. Great arrangement and playing and you do it all so effortlessly! I did notice a little pile of dust and some potato chip crumbs on the sheet music holder...

Thanks, Larry.  If you look closely, I'm afraid you'll see dust everywhere.  :(  And I haven't decorated the place at all...that's one of my goals for Christmas break.  No potato chips though...must be something else.  I'll go check.  :)

Effortlessly?...yeah, I guess it is fairly easy after only about 500 hours of practice. Just on this song!

How did I miss this a few days ago...?

Janet, this marvellous - I love the way that you weave little extra bits in-between the main tune in places (and some of those would sound great with electric guitar runs in thirds...).

It's a very original, but instantly recognisable, arrangement.

Hopefully we'll be seeing more of you playing... you could build up quite a youtube following!

Cheers,
Terry.

Thanks James.  I'm Janet, btw.  lol

I was waiting for you to find this Terry.  :)  Thanks for your comments here and on youtube.  I'm so tickled you like it.  Didn't take long to arrange it in my head, but to get it RIGHT in my head and THEN on the keys...well, let's just say I played it quite a few more than 4-5 times before I recorded it.  lol

Playing on camera is interesting and those that have quite a following do it much more professionally than I did.  But we'll see for the future.  :)  Need to get the timing right somehow...didn't feel like I had time to play it with a click track before I had to perform it. I should work on that now.   Anyway....I'll quit blathering on....  Thanks again.  :)

Hi, Janet,

Wow, you really make playing that look so easy in this wonderful video!  Excellent playing and arrangement, and the piano tone sounds great.

Fantastic job on this, have a great Christmas, Janet!
