oxygen8 version 2 help!

i sold off my mackie controll awhile ago....i don't miss it much except the transport controls......so i figured I'd buy oxygen8 version 2 and use it mostly as a transport control for fast foward and play back...ect.......

blah ....... i havnt got a clue on how to set this up and directions that come with it are zip....

this is what i've done so far....installed the drivers...... set it as an act control surface then midi ins and outs are the usb oxygen 8 ....... there is a preset in the act control surface for oxygen8 -- although it doesnt say version 2.....

i get the keyboard to play the softsynths such as.... battery and bfd and the ts...... so its working for those things..... as far as how to set it up so the transport on the oxygen8 does anything -- i am totally lost ...banks and all.... and all the labels on the keys.. like data...program... i dont know - i am just lost after messing with it for a few hours...i really just want to fast foward -- rewind -- and play ...thought this was the way to go -- and as a bonus i would have a little keyboard on my daw staion i could use instead of dragging out my big old dinosaur yamaha on the rare occasions i needed to play a synth part......

at any rate that's where i am at....... so if anyone could chime in with the set up for this ...or point me to some good directions on how it works ... i would buy ya case of beer and have my first born son cut your lawn when hes old enoug ...for a year .... seriously any help would be appreciated.....

I hava an Oxeygen 8 and I am confused... It sits next to the Radium 49 which sits on top of my Roland RS9, heck the only thing I know is the Roland. The other two I just mainy use for quick midi input to a softsynth.

I am going to try to use ACT in the Newer version of Project 5 v2.5 to see how that works.
