If I were you, I'd start a new thread detailing exactly what it is you are trying to do.
 
Also, please provide details of your system setup.
 
You'll get far more answers that by tacking onto the end of an 8 year old thread

I aways use my audio interface as the sync device. This maybe the problem.  Set this up in Preferences.
