Loading Sound Forge 9 within Sonar 7

Hi,

I recently wanted to edit an audio track with Sound Forge 9 from within Sonar 7. I clicked on it from 'Tools' menu and it refused to load. There was no crash but when I went to try clicking again my Sound Forge entry on the list was greyed out. Has anyone else had any problems like this? I used Sound Forge fine yesterday from the tools menu and have made no changes to my computer set up since then. Sound Forge works fine outside Sonar. I have sent a note about this issue to technical support.

Grateful for any info.

Tony

have you made sure you have an audio clip selected before you go into the tools menu?
i realise you probably have, but it's the only thing i can think of that might be a reason for it not being available..

Thanks for the advice - I was stupid in that I had clicked only the track and not slected the actual audio!! Works fine now. I am a better musician than I am at understanding technology!

    Thanks again
