TFridgen Max Output Level: -90 dBFS Total Posts : 11 Joined: 3/6/2008 Status: offline March 20, 08 9:46 PM (permalink) Dropouts Just got an emu0202, when I go to playback in cakewalk, the audio plays for a few seconds crackles, then drops out. I am operating using th ASIO drivers and have maked out the buffer rate to 500. Anybody have any ideas? #1 2 Replies Related Threads

Underscoring what John says, I don't know the EMU202 but in most cases WDM drivers work better in Sonar than ASIO (in my experienec that is). Try changing to WDM and profile . #3
