Huge potential with this song. With proper drums and bass this is going to be a hit for sure. Well done, very creative.

Good tune. Well done. Great vocals and song arrangement, nice singable chorus. I'm amazed at what you guys are doing in such a short time. I won't even attempt a 3-4 hour tune.

Sounds great! "Crowded House" comes to mind, Kinda Finn-ish. Great voice!

Yo Ed,

Totally good minimalist pop number. The quality of the song and vocal performance carries it, for sure.

What the hell, go ahead and put a bass line on it.

Cheers,

Bert

Hi Ed,

Awesome tune. It would not be out of place on any hit album or single playing radio station. Great vocal and instrumental talent there, too, man!

The process reminded me of years gone by when I worked with a friend who lived some distance away and he would travel to stay the weekend with me and we'd see how many songs we could knock out in a day and a half. A real creative buzz working to a deadline.

Keep on rockin

Douglas, thanks alot bud.

Janet, Thank you, yeah I am going to have to finish this one up.

Hey Roger, If you heard that snare alone you would laugh, utterly hideous. I just grabbed a loop and ran with it. I cant believe the guitars sound even remotely good, it's a $300.00 Ibanez 10 years old, I can fit my pinky finger under the strings with rust on them lol. I had a beautiful Seagull but I got drunk at a gig one night and backed over it in my car not one of my prouder moments

Philip, thanks. Yeah I'll have to revise a few lyrics here and there. A few may be a tad too literal for mass consumption.

Jay, thanks alot man. Your right, the couch can be a dangerous addiction, Just say no.

I did something very similar back in the mid-90s. After years of futzing and obsessing over each tune, I did an album of hard rock, every tune written and recorded in a single session (longest 8 hours), with me playing all the (real) instruments. I will tell ya, I love those songs.

Tom, thanks alot. Drums/bass are being worked on right now.

Tom, Thanks so much for your comments.

Eric, I love Crowded House, works for me Thank you.

Hey Bert, thanks alot bud, trying to wrap it up.

Dave, Thank you so much. I think the best thing about the time limit for me was it forced me to stay focused instead of getting stuck in tweak purgatory.

James, thanks for the listen. Hopefully this one wont take me a year finish up. I am hoping my days of spending 6 months tweaking 1 song are over.

i think it's great like it is. JMO, but the worst thing you could do to this would be to fill it with a bunch of other stuff. it's stands up on it's own in all of its simplicity. nice, nice work.

Alkie, Great complements, I am definitely humbled at some of the responses. You guys are too kind.

6String, I couldn't agree more. I think there will be more replacing than adding to this one. Thanks for the listen/comments.

Kev, thanks alot. I really take the writing comments to heart. It means alot to me.
