Jeff

Cor, blimey what a great song.

I just listened to the updated version, I actually quite like the hybrid drum sound and its got a nice swinging feel to the breaks the snare is multi-tracked with something else (a clap?) which is causing a double hit which sounds a little too behind the beat, but most of the nits that folk have mentioned before seem to have been addressed.

I'd quite like to hear James' take on the mix and mastering as this is so nearly all about.

Excellent track.

Vox is sweeter and punchier and spunkier! Not at all drowned nor overly-saturated (neither by other instruments nor the vox itself) in this version.
This one REALLY breaths and makes the hook (I'm Gonna Love You Like This) extremely pleasant to my ears.
I'm extremely pleased with this.

What did you do?

1:15 Drums might counter a bit louder (for 2 seconds)

Tremelo is perfect and balanced at 10:00 (or where you have it).

The cheerful epilogue (piano jam) is about 25-30 seconds too long (for my *short-sermon* tastes). But the tail would work in a home-theater setting, methinks.

Awesome awesome awesome pop-piece!
