Don - great sound, great mix. no crits from me here - except the percussive rat-a-tat becomes annoying after a while - i'd lose that in either the verse or chorus.

Sounds good to me Don! Nice voice you have and the piano as well. The 'desolate wind' sound fits the theme of the song.

Very Nice Mix ... Good Playing... I like the castanets thing ... but I suppose it could be used a bit more judiciously as noted above. Yeah this is a very nice production.

Don, This is a great song, and you've played, sung and produced it well. I only have a couple of observations, FWIW: * The opening piano riff is a terrific hook, and could be brought out a little more. * I think a different reverb would be more flattering to your great vocal performance. I'd go for a delayed plate, but that's JMHO. * The harmony vocals are very nice. * I love the electric guitar entrance at 2:21, but it's over too soon! Thanks for sharing this excellent work! I very much enjoyed listening.

ORIGINAL: Tap Very Nice Mix ... Good Playing... I like the castanets thing ... but I suppose it could be used a bit more judiciously as noted above. Yeah this is a very nice production. When I was on a tour of the holy land, there were some people on the boat playing castanets? And they didn't have faith that people on that side of the boat liked their castanet music? So I said, "Oh ye of little faith, castanets on the other side of the boat". And sure enough, the other side of the boat LOVED the castanets! Just goes to show I guess.

LOL! It was some bible humor, I thought it was pretty funny though, "Oh ye of little faith, castanets on the other side of the boat". Hello? Is this thing on?

This reminds me of "Level 42"... One of my favorate pop groups... The vocal has that Mark King quality... Great production... Didn't I already write this??? It's like Déjà vu all over again...
