act knob movements not recording

hello all.

i have a small issue with act. i'm triggering arturia's arp 2600v using my roland fantom as a midi controller. i have enabled some parameters (adsr) using act. sounds great and everything is working as it should except the knob movements i have assigned to those parameters are not recording. i have automation write and read enabled; i see the movements on the arp gui, and i hear the sound change when i move the knobs on my controller. i'm sure i'm missing a crucial step, but the act movements will not record.

anyone have any ideas?

    Open up SONAR, open the help file, click the "Index" tab in the SONAR Help, browse downn to the "Automation" section heading, look for the sub-item "Recording Individual Fader or Knob Movements" for step-by-step instructions. Also look through the rest of the sections on Automation for more detail and related topics.

    thanks, bob. should've made it clear in my post that i had automated correctly. problem still exists unfortunately...

    Act is not working for me as well. I act learned 8 roterys on my tascam us2400, then opened the sonitus compressor, clicked act learn, moved 5 controls in the plug-in, then moved 5 roteries on the us2400, then clicked act learn again, but I did not get the message asking me if I want to keep these settings, and the roteries don't adjust any thing when I move them?

    I've got a similar issue to this in Sonar LE.  Does the automation record if you actually move the sliders etc by dragging the stuff on screen with the mouse but ignores it if you move stuff with the MIDI controller?
