SONG: Still There

Hi,

I've got a new song called "Still There". You can hear it here:

http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7776743

This one features a lot of Omnisphere, and the usual suspects:

SONAR 8.3
Superior 2 Drummer - Allaire kit
Trilogy Bass
real guitar w/ POD XT

any comments welcome ;-)

    Cool Sounds!
I especially like it when the bass and drums come in.

Really cool synth sound. You have really done a great job on the percussion. Love when the guitar comes in and the tone you used. The mix on my end really sounds rich and full. KUDOS!

    Hi jbraner,

Love the guitar work @2:05, wish there was more. Love the buildup starting @ 2:30. Someone stepped on the tape @ 5:01 - 02, and then again @ 5:11 and @ 5:16. I have a feeling I just put my foot in my mouth. That was intentional right? Overall, a very good production.

    Cool sound!

The drums sort of took me by surprise when they came in. They eventually gelled just perfectly, but it didn't seem like they came in on the beat. Could just be me.

I really like the guitar at 2:05 too. :-)

Mix sounds nice, very clean and present.
It gets interesting when the synth arpeggios go away and the guitars are more the focus. Some really nice interweaving guitar rhythms in that section.
    Enjoyed it, thanks.

This is great. The tune is really interesting and the mix is spot on.

I had a good time listening to this.

    Thanks John.

Thanks a lot for listening Alegria, mamabear, toby and clean. The "stepping on the tape" is intentional

    Sounds great!

One micro-nit: the arpeggio-synthsound and drums/bass are a tad out of sync with each other. (listening in cans)

Thanks for listening Mountainman, and for your comments.

I still can't hear this - maybe I'm going tone deaf.
