Cannot get Edirol PCR-300 to work as a control surface

I cannot get my Edirol PCR 300 to work as a control surface with SONAR, although it works fine in terms of generating sound and playing the soft synths. My software and drivers are up to date, and I reset the PCR-300 to factory settings.

My Sonar 8 settings are

Midi Devices

Inputs
EDIROL PCR 1, EDIROL PCR 2  and EDIROL MIDI IN are selected
Outputs
EDIROL PCR and EDIROL MIDI OUT are selected

I also have a Midiman USB interface connected with its ins and outs selected.

Controllor Surfaces

The controller is set to Edirol PCR - 300 the In Port is set to EDIROL PCR 2, the Out port is EDIROL PCR
The Edirol PCR Settings
  PCR Editor:

MIDi Devices the Input Port is EDIROL PCR 2 and the Output Port is EDIROL PCR

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I just unistalled the PCR driver, reset the PCR-300 to factory settings,  ermoved all USB connections, reinstalled and re configured. It still doesn't work.

    Any ideas ?
