All you guys going on about x64 makes me itchy to get Windows 7. I have a Vista x64 machine for testing (when I tried to move to x64 several times before), but I swore I wouldn't play with it again since Windows 7 is around the corner! Ahhhh! I just ran into a project where I almost instantly ran out of memory in Kontakt.... I'm so tempted to fire up Vista x64! But I must resist! :)

I'm just relieved to hear that BitBridge is so much better, and that Cakewalk has made it easy to incorporate jBridge. :)

I know that feeling.

But the wait will be worth it. :-)

@ Freddie,

I't just that one is more compatible with some plugins than the other.  So, if it doesn't work with Bitbridge, you have JBridge as an alternative.

Take care!

Yes, James... you will love it I can promise you that! =)
Its already work like a charm in Vista sp2 64bit. I bet it will work even better in Windows 7 64bit.

Okay Jose!
Thanks!

See ya' both of you, friends!

Freddie

My understanding is that, at least at this time, SONAR 8.5 messes up EZDrummer and Superior from ToonTrack. I also understand that using jBridge will make them work in 64 bit...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

BUG: Sometimes audio crackel open projects with 32bit plugins with SONAR 8.5.1 64bit? I use the 64bit audio-engine ON!
CWBRN-1879

Happens example with the  Kore Free Player (32bit) as a insert FX. When you open the plugin first time it work all just fine, but later when close SONAR and open the project again, then audio in SONAR crackle? Why? I don't know?

How to fix this?

1. In SONAR got to ---> Options

2. "Audio" Options

3. just hit --> "Apply"-button? and then ---> "OK"

*******************************************************

Now SONAR and the project doesn't crackle anymore?
Regards
Freddie

For me with jBridge I can't get any samples to load in SONAR 8.3.1 or 8.5 (x64) versions in VISTA Ultimate (x64) SP2,

This is using Superior Drummer 2.1 or 2.2

I've just gone back to SONAR 8.5 32 bit in VISTA x64 until there's a fix

That's strange.

Superior Drummer 2.1 works just fine in Sonar 8.5.1 x64 (under Vista64) using JBridge for me (and others).

Not sure about 2.2., but I'm not updating to it until Cakewalk releases the patch for Sonar.
