monitors

Just ordered a pair of Event TR5 monitors ...has anyone had any experience with the tr5 thanks

    I have a close relative, the PS-5's. Non-fatiguing, and I've learned to get great mixes on them that translate well. I understand that yours are quite similar. Watch the low-end content, 5" drivers won't show much of what is happening below 40 - 60Hz.

    Depends on your genre. If you are doing stuff that doesn't have a lot of low end you should be fine. Personally I had to upgrade to the SP8's ($1300 pair) because some of the work I was doing had lows down to 30 Hz and I got tired of burning a CD, listening in the car, remixing, burning a cd, listening in the car, etc.
