I'm glad you figured this out.  I haven't had time to get on here in a while b/c my basement flooded again, so I have been dealing w/ a lot of "crap" lately.  I really wish Toontrack would just make presets for all the popular drum brains b/c there aren't that many and most of Roland's have the same mapping.  I think they would be able to sell a lot more if they simplified this process b/c after spending, so much money on an e-drum kit and then SD2, you just want to be able to power it up and go.

Lou, Sorry to hear about the flooding. I agree with you that toontrak should do the presets.
I'm glad to have finally figured out the problem. Being able to choke the cymbals is very cool.

Yes this post was put up 4 years ago, but I just wanted to say a big thankyou, as this has indeed helped me figure out getting the cymbal choke working on my Vdrums with SD.
