Sonar 8 x64 doesn't see the plugins vst that I install

Sonar 8 x64 doesn't see the plugins vst that I install

Hi there,

I have recently installed new Window7 64bit with a version of sonar x64, 8.5.2 

After some problems in the installation, works fine.

The problem is that Sonar 8 x64 doesn't see the plugins vst that I install.
I use the default well cakewalk, contained in the package installation,
but I tried to install for ex. Autotune6 or T-Racks3, but vst scan but I did not add them in sonar.

I tried to change the destination of the installation, and add that folder to the menu of the VST scanner...

..But nothing. Not see them.

Who can help?!

    if they are 32 bit plugs they wont show up. i bought this jbridge thing but i still can't figure that out . so maybe one of these guy who really knows this software realy good, 
    { and there is a bunch of them }could help both of us because i don't get it eather.

    ]These plugins are 32 bit, I used them on Win xp32 until yesterday.
    I thought win7 sonar bitbridge enough to see them.
    Recognizes them and installs them in the folder
    c: \ Program Files (x86) \ Cakewalk \ VSTplugins
    But Sonar has not seen them with others ...

    Perhaps the right question is:
    how I must to use bitbridge? not all automatically? How I configure it?

    You simply have to set up a vst path to the x86 plugs. Bitbridge will automatically wrap 'em up and make them available (cool hun?)

    i7 860/MSI mobo/8GB ram/win7x64ultimate/X2/profire 610/oxygen 61/running 48k currently.

    I tried .... but something not working!

    For example if I install just iZotope Vinyl. Sonar sees the DX version but not VST.

    The path \ folder should be placed in the vst scan? .. I have done this but .. bho ?!!?!?

    Izotope Ozone4.... I see the Dx and the VST version, but I think because it is 64bit native...
    ...How I can see the 32 plugins, with bitbridge!?!?

    Sonar x64 will need two separate VST plugin paths if you want to use both 64Bit and 32Bit plugins.
    By default:
    64Bit plugins = C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\VstPlugins
    32Bit plugins = C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\VstPlugins
     
    You need to have both setup if you want Sonar x64 to have access to all your plugins.
     
    Sounds to me like Sonar is currently scanning only the 64Bit plugin path... which would mean none of the 32Bit plugins would show up.

     I installed the plugins in this way,
    and folders to scan....are in these locations ..

    . but I can see only the x64 versions ...

    The problem could be windovs7 x64 Ultimate?

    someone else using this version sonar 8.5.2?

    Have you got the two paths that Jim mentions in Global/VST ?

    I had the same problem, even though I included the two folders in the scan, I hadnt included them in Global/VST - and they didnt show up

    Putting them in Global and then running the scan fixed it for me.
