Well, I'll be. Testosterone wars going on right under our noses!

You naughty boys--all of you...get in your time-out corners until you think you can be nice.

Radio, you'll put your music back up, won't you, please?

If I'm practicing a sin, I'm going to Hell.
If I'm obeying Jesus, I'm going to Heaven.

Oops.  Strolled into the SF after a few months and recognised your old handle.  Was hoping to see what's new - but unfortunately it seems to be a sequel to any number of previous threads

As I can't hear the track may I make a suggestion?  If you ever feel you might be in a song writing rut there's a couple of things you can try (in addition to turning off the PC and/or experimenting with chemicals).  One is to load up a sample/loop entirely at random and see where it takes you.  The other, slightly longer term, is to try a whole new instrument - which is what I did last summer when I got a guitar.

One of the things I don't like about defaulting every new song to using my 'normal' template is that it loads all the standard soft synths etc so I'm already locked in a pattern of thought.  I have the same deal with the Zoom box for the guitar and I'm thinking of resetting the memory of it to clear out all my patches.

The other thing I do is play my stuff to my 12 year old.  So far, I've yet to play him any song that he likes to the point of wanting to put it on his iPod.  No way YoYo could deal a blow as crusing as that lol
