If I start a thread about the V Studio 700 and PT9, will it get removed?

Yeah but pre-mixed project with envellopes, automations and some other stuff can't be tranferred in waves without losing those data and in OMF it seem to be a real pain to translate to Sonar.

I did load PT9 on my system.  Should work with ASIO drivers, but alas, it is not.  I'm getting "hardware cannot be found" errors on an fresh and empty install of 7 64 bit optimized for PT.
When I do get passed the "Hardware not found" dialogue (which is a random occurrence, can't pin point why or when) it crashes when opening the 700r ASIO utility to adjust buffer size, as well as on other occasions.

I had PT8 (from school, included in tuition) and my student upgrade was $125.  I figured it was worth a shot.  Gambles and lost. :(

X1 is on my list.

SHES ALIVE, MUAHAHAHAHA!

Installed latest NVidia driver, did some cleaning up and backing up, but most importantly, shut off the 700, flipped it back on, THEN loaded PT with no issues.  Suddenly, it hasn't crashed on me yet and I've loaded Omnisphere and other goodies into it.  Sweet :)

Will be trying more stuff today.

Also, X1 is awesome!  Loving it.  So many new toys to play with!

It could work, better than simply MCUs, with Cubase too... I really liked X1b (already running here, few bugs), but Cubase 6 is also good (installed and running, few bugs too)...

It would be awesome to control any of them with VS 700 C... This control surface is the best for me.

Peace.
