Very convincing cover!

My band opened for Badfinger in 1971.  I shared a dressing room with them, and while the sing beautiful, I could only make out about every 3rd of 4th word in conversation with them.  They all sounded like Mike Myers doing his Ron Wood impersonation.  Really!

Nice job!  Good vocal impersonations too (but can you talk like them?!)  I hope not!

The best Badfinger cover I've heard.  Tops in vocals and instrumentation.

Having lived through the British Invasion this is my genre of music and your cover captured that time and feel.

Thanks,
Dale

Thanks for the listen gents.   Appreciate the comments and interesting info.   Yes, Badfinger had a lot of potential, particularly when endorsed/discovered by the Beatles added to their portfolio of great music..   It is unfortunate that a poor manager led to so much misfortune and ended their career ahead of their time.

Thanks again for the comments.

Regards

Badfinger was a great band.  It's a shame that they never acheived the success that they deserved.  The suicides of Tom Evans and Pete Ham cemented their tragic story.

Your cover of this song is spot on.  I think the average-person-on-the-street would easily think this was Badfinger themselves and that's the best compliment I can give your cover.

Awesome job.

Nice production Mark... Yeah I liked this one as well! (Spot On)!

RLD - Very nice vocal addition. Perfect for this tune!

Joshua - Yeah yours was great as well.

Mine isn't up yet. I just finally re-finished the tracks. Uploaded them last night. Mark said he'll prolly get at this next weekend. I'm looking forward to it.

Admittedly, I spent less time on the harmonies than the main vocal, but meh, whatever.
