Is it buggy?
Just starting to try it out on a few 4 stem projects & it's working fine.
The new RCA console seems centered with lots of punch. I think it will work well on hard driving rock, funk & fusion.

added- trying it on a few larger projects in x64 & it's working fine too.

I went to both slatedigital.com and then to "my account" at slatedigital and got in by entering my user name and password.

Cannot find any way or info regarding downloading this update.  Where...exactly...do you go to get it??

I figured out you have to go to drumclassroom.net and enter your original passcodes.  Got it.  Installed but won't goof with it till tomorrow.  New console does show up tho:-)

Just installed my update - can't wait to hear if it's as good as the Trident. This plugin has changed my (mixing) life.

I usually use Trident & am experimenting on a small stem project. Trident VCC-->Trident mixbuss as usual--->mastering buss with eq-->buss comp-->RCA mixbuss ONLY driving it +6-->Limiter.

It seems to give a little punch w/o losing the Trident's wide vibe.

Hey...I just got my email letter announcing the new VCC and just now saw the "important info" about deleting your previous settings BEFORE installing which, natch, I did not do.  Do you think I can just delete or uninstall the new VCC, then delete the settings and reinstall??  Or have I (as usual) screwed up?

I'll post at Slate as well.

I'd try it.

-Delete the dlls -Delete VCC Settings Windows 7
C:/ProgramData/Slate Digital/Virtual Console Collection/VCC Settings

-(clean the registry if you have a program you trust- I use Acronis)
-re install ( I'd also re-boot for any iLok issues)

Good luck!

SLATE GOT BUGS 2011/10/12 15:19:22 (permalink)
Dear VCC Customer, Yesterday, you should have received an email about the new VCC 1.5 update with the new RC TUBE console emulation. After reading a few tech support tickets regarding some specific issues, we decided to temporarily remove the 1.5 version from the users MY ACCOUNT area, so that we can be assured that all available plugin builds are 100% stable. The 1.3.5 version is still available in the MY ACCOUNT area. We expect an updated 1.5.1 version to be uploaded VERY soon, and we are sorry for the inconvenience. Cheers, Steven Slate

Looking at the posts over at GS I think it's more PT related.
No problems here using it all day in X1.
