Yeah, mine is the Firewire version as well, so they probably are the same drivers.

Yo...what' up guys.  I have a maschine too, with 1.5 .  for soundcards, 2 x 2408 mkIII, a 24i, a 24 i/o and a v700r.  I will install the beta and play around with it tonight.  I will let you know what I find.  BTW, what new features does the beta support?   Where can I download it?  looking on the website and don't see it.

go to the ni forums, maschine sub then beta sub from there.

Hey guys,

Been running the 1.6.2 update since last week and enjoying it in standalone. Just tried it in X1b and the same problem; no sound, even the playback is not starting. Could it be the transport controls?

Running Windows 7 64bit (could this be the issue?), interface is an NI Audio Kontrol.

It's always reassuring, tho never the less infuriating, that others are having the same issue.
