I can picture it now:  Bapu getting three speeding tickets on the way home...  His Lovely Lady asking him to stop and eat supper and tell her about his day first...  Bapu being told that these dishes aren't going to wash themselves...  Bapu finally tearing open the packaging, gently opening the catch, holding his breath as he opens the lid...  Bapu sitting in stunned silence at the empty case and the torn shred of paper that reads, "Mooch was here"...

You left out the part where my Lovely Lady prances around in that "special night nighty" to distract me.

(drools from mouth)

Sorry guys, I was dreaming... I'm awake now.

I also left out the part where she tells you to "stop crying like a little school girl".

That's because I'm that thoughtful.

Update (12:00PM): Weird. The Lovely Lady says the truck pulls up. Stops in front of the house. The driver never gets out. (From within the truck) Emerges to his seat, looks at his clipboard and then drives off.

What info do you get with tracking number?

Just that arrived in Newbury Park at 4:14AM and at 7:26AM is on the truck out for delivery.

The thing is... normally UPS delivers at about 2:00 PM.

I'll wait until 4 my time before I start wondering what
kind of gorillas cruz your house. Maybe they're gentle
but get lost easy.

Forgot to mention that UPS does normally make two runs down our street.

First is usually around 11:00AM as the guy down the street runs a business out of his house and that run usually only stops for him.

Then we have an approx. 2:00PM which is usually a delivery for us (and others on the street).

Spacey, next time you should really time your deliveries for April 1.  It would make torturing Bapu so much more fun.

Have you considered calling her and asking her to bring the bass (and your amp) to you so you don't have to wait for the drive home?
