It's funny - I had 2 or 3 questions to ask before the forum went down - guess what? I read TFM and answered them myself.

does this mean i will gain post count?

I'm replying to you with the message from another thread (regarding entering Dimension Pro registration code, running as administrator on Win 7). I though it's more related to this thread.

I got my X1 around the time X1a was released. So, up to QuickFix 246, all I can do was just play around with X1 on my old XP PC (too slow to do any work), while waiting for my new 2600k Win 7 system. For the last one week, I was waiting for the final component to arrive - the intel p67 motherboard and was put on a long wait.

So when I finally setup the new system and install X1 - to my horror, Dimension Pro didn't recognize my registration code. I was thinking.. maybe it could have been the sequence of my installation - X1 - X1a - X1b - 246 - without running Dimension Pro..  Uninstall X1, install again just X1 with no fix and run Dimension Pro, same error...and the worst decision - reinstall Win 7 - repeat all over again.. and it all happens during the forum down time!

By then, it was 2 days I didn't get much sleep. So the next day, to my delight, when the forum is up, my first search found your message.

Chuckebaby, you are indeed very very cool :) you definitely gain the 'cool' count ! Thanks!

Cheers!
