Yeah, but they were high when they wrote those songs, no?

Now thats a novelty fancy a musician getting high and writing music something I have just never heard of before.

FWIW there is more to the color thing than I know.

Some say you can get by with just the blues.

I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues

Ahh, I see what you did there...

Whatever it was, you can be assured that Mooch will complain about it.

But to reach the chord is our life's hope
And to name the chord is important to some
So they give it a word,
and the word is...

Graeme

Somehow I feel slightly disappointed.
Applogies

The Earth turns slowly round
Far away a distant sound
Is with us everyday
Can you hear, what it say?

As for the OP, I've read in books and seen some shows on cable that talk about this type of phenomenom (called "cross-sensory perception" if I recall correctly).  I think it's an interesting thing and I have some courses on Perfect Pitch and Relative Pitch (David Lucas Burge) that talk about developing this exact concept.

For my serious reply, no I can't say as I do. I got a pretty good imagination though so once it is figured out what color I'm supposed to be seeing for each chord. I should be able to implement the color system.
That should make creativity a snap, just like color coordinating.....no? Oh, I can't do that well either.
