Sonar X1B (w) MCU Pro = Jerky Fader Playback - *see video* HELP !!!

I am running Sonar X1B 255 X64 + Windows 7 X64 in a Intel i7 DAW with a Gigabyte motherboard - USB is not being shared with anything else and is running at full USB 2.0 speed.
 
This is a fully clean Windows and Sonar install.
 
This MCU is a brand new one with the Alps Faders running Firmware 4.0.2.
 
Anyone have any idea what is causing this jerky fader automation playback.

PS:- Other than the above " jerky " issue,  the unit is operating perfectly.

What you're seeing there is due to the update speed of the data.

If you try to refresh the position of the faders 1000 times a second you'll soon burn out the motors.  I don't know if Sonar has a limit on the amount of updates per channel it will send, I wouldn't think so, but the hardwear will have a limit on the amount it will listen to, ignoring the rest.

There may be a setting to adjust the refresh rate, you'll have to check your manual or trawl through any settings the driver may have.

So, does anyone here know of a setting in AUD.INI  or  TTSEQ.INI  that I can manully edit to try and fix this issue ?

Go to Edit > Preferences > File | Initialization File.

Under Options put "CtrlSurfaceRefreshMS" without quotes.

For the Value try 75, and click [Set], and test. This is the default value, it's possible that it got changed somehow. You could try dropping it down to 50 or so as well. Though it's likely there's something else going on in your system delaying the MIDI messages to your Control Surface.

Edit: Watching the video again, I don't know if there's actually a fixable issue there. That may just be how the MCU responds. I'd try what ProjectM asked and test it with another application.
