That's ridiculous.  British TV is far too refined for Colonial tastes.  That's why Benny Hill, Mr. Bean, Are You Being Served, the Vicar of Dibly, and Keeping Up Appearances are all shown on PBS stations in the USA.  It's because they're "educational" for the illiterate and hopelessly ignorant Yanks.

Shirley, the British are too sophisticated for American comedy.

I'm off to watch Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to raise my IQ.  Cheers!

You can get some great pointers on how to speak the Queen's English from that show, too!  And what a proper English accent sounds like!!!

Wasn’t it vanilla ice … or was it Led Zep that lip sync’ed???

Personally, I prefer vanilla fudge over vanilla ice … not a big fan of flavored water or flavored ice, they lack substance and mouth-feel.

20 – 40% unfunny?  That’s a fairly large error … I think you need to work on your precision.

I believe you're thinking of Milly Vanilli

who knew they were so far ahead of their time????
I won't stand for any knocking of Milli Vanilli around these parts! Go back and listen to "Blame It On The Rain" and tell me that is not a perfect pop song.
