Yeah, definitely hear the Ventures meet Depeche Mode meet early Peter Gabriel in here.  Maybe X as well -- in fact you inspired me to go back and listen to 'Los Angeles' for the first time in a long time.

Agree that an added (female) vocalist in some sections would improve it -- look forward to hearing how it develops if you choose to do that.   

As a matter of fact, I do think you are good Rick.  Another quirky, creative number.  I love the sound of that guitar starting that number and carrying the song all the way along.  Your vocals sound great and I love the lyrics. Great bass line and is that a vibraphone (how cool).

Tim..............Yes, i liked the Buzzcocks in their day because they could create a HUGE harmonic experience while staying loyal to the punk genre.  Not easy to do at all.  I'm mostly just using whatever instruments and limited capabilities to convey my ideas while trying not to succumb to cookie cutter arrangements (although i fail) and productions that have beaten our ears and  musical sensibilities to death.

CW...............i like your sig.  :)    Depeche Mode..they were fun too.  I am sure it would sound better with a nice punky female voice.   Thank you for listening!

Phil.................It WAS a spooky evening.  I was visiting a friend and all of a sudden was scared of something...had to leave and on the perilous ride home my pulse seemed to be beating out the guitar riff. like a soundtrack to a macabre night.   It was  weird but i am glad i got a profit from it.  thank you for the listen!
