If it's epic gas that you want.. try sulfer  and molasses. My mom used to give that to us... Oh my the epic egg smells we (my brother and I ) were capable of.... 

On skin tags.... they are easily removed...almost painlessly too.... (seriously) ... get a can of that compressed air stuff they use to blow dust out of the computer keyboards..... turn it upside down so it squirts the liquid out the nozzle.  Use the tube that comes with it.... spray it on the tag, or the wart or other skin growth.... (not recommended for mole removal) ... spray or drip the liquid on the offending thing..... freeze that sucker solid. This procedure will sting slightly for a few minutes. (Man up!)  After a few minutes the stinging stops, and in a few days it scabs up (dries out) and falls off in about 5 to 6 days.   

I used this method on a pea sized tag on my side.... it was in a bad place rubbing on my clothes. Also did a tag on my daughter's neck at the collar line... both gone in a week.   No scar.

I have used this on myself a number of times to remove tags and other things.... after going to a dermatologist, enduring the wait, the attitude, the nitrogen spray ( it stings) and then paying the $150 bill for getting sprayed in 2 spots....Insurance doesn't cover "cosmetic procedures".... then told it might come back but check in with us in a week and we'll see how this is doing, and we can charge you another $150 .....  yeah...self treatment is $4/can and does a whole bunch those sorts of things plus it keeps my computer keyboard clean.  

Do not construe this as medical advice because it's not.... I slept at a Holiday Inn Express so I'm qualified to give this advice.

That is good to know. I went to the Derm about two weeks ago, she 'burned' a few things off my head but there is neverany cancerous stuff. None in my family but my wife gets skin cancers, they burn some stuff and biopsy others. This time one was a cancer and she has to go back next week and have it and it's roots cut out. The little scaly places on my head never go away, they don't blister like they always say they will... I don't worry about it much.
 
I am glad to know about the canned air idea. I always have stuff like that around and and not afraid to use it. Ever since the wonderful caring people in Washington started to mess around with our insurance mine went from pretty good to terrible. As it became clear that Obamacare was going to become law (so we could find out what was in it ??) my insurance started to prepare for the worse. We have always had health insurance, when we didn't have a car we had health insurance. I remember times when all we had was a 6-pack and health insurance. Long story short... we had a 2,500 deductable. That Aug 1 we were given to option to pay more(than the 650 a month) or increase the deductable. We increased the deductable to 5k. Then they gave us the same option again in about 2 months. We went to 10k on the deductable. They told us nothing else would change but it did. We now have a 40 dollar co-pay and they changed us from an 80/20 plan to a 70/30 plan. Being 59yo with a few pre-existings, we are stuck with it. Thank God we are able to pay for it... but it uses up a lot of our income. I don't want government healthcare because I thinkthe time is right around the corner when the retired, semi-retired, and disabled are, as Obama said, be offered a pill.
 
I will remember the canned air idea and use it!!

They must be surgically removed by cutting. Then, according to law (apparently) and the doc, they are required to have ALL the things they cut off the human body sent to a lab for identification and examination. She told me that it  normally costs between $500 to $800 dollars and is not covered by insurance.  

So, I'll keep them for now.

It depends on what insurance you have. I've had things removed and sent for testing and it only cost me my deductible. $25.

My insurance... State of NC employees BCBS will not cover "cosmetic" things unless the thing is medically necessary to remove, or impedes ones ability to work. 

Besides, it gives me character..... and maybe one day I can grow some hairs out of it to scare the kiddies...

I had some o' them 'roids, or 'Farmer Giles' as we like to call them, about 10 years ago.

I think even Randy would shy from telling the whole story about how the doc got rid of 'em for me, but it involved a camera on a pole, followed by a (not so) miniature harpoon.

I walked out to the car park afterwards like John Wayne, the pain was so bad I was laughing.

But yes, plenty of fibre, plenty of water.
