Given my musical tastes, I shouldn't really like most of your stuff, yet I always do. I guess good is just good no matter what the style. I always like your use of words to. Crits ? Vox maybe slightly too forward, but other than that all sounds about right to me.

Nice tune. I sense Steely Dan influence. Even more really. England Dan and John Ford Coley, Firefall, Hall and Oates and all those 70s groups. I really like it! Thanks for sharing.

Mark, James. Thank you. Paulo, Great, I'm glad to expand your horizons. I'm with Gary Reynolds motto - Like Ellington I love both good and bad music :) Guitarpima - You know I never know what genre my music belong in. It's rock, it's country, it's blues, and jazz. I don't copy any artists so what I produces reflects all my experiences and influences, consequently it's often a conglomeration of all those things... and yet not quite any of them. Maybe 50 years after I die someone will find my CDs and name a new genre after me :) Daryl

It's inevitable that you'll sound like all the things you listened to over the years.

I was joking of course, but hey we can always wish. :) But many people do emulate the artists they like when they write. I never start out to write a song of any genre or a "band x" kind of tune (well almost never) the song just evolves as it will and then I never know what it is. Someone suggested it was "smooth rock", which I thought was pretty funny and maybe fairly accurate. :)

This piece reminded me of 'Prime Time' by the Tubes. Love that song. Well done. To me, the vocal effects might be a tad heavy on the male. Regards, Lance

Nice groove and tune daryl. I think this is my fav of yours. I do think the vocs should sit back more into the mix. Same with the guit harmony solo. great work.

Hey Daryl really cool song. It's quite memorable and smooth. I dont hear the vocals being too loud. Very good song and production! Nice job
