Well, Strings II for 200 bucks would be a no brainer, obviously...! But as said, I have to add a full version of Kontakt to that, and with this deal Kontakt will cost me more than Strings II, haha! (BTW You seem to use Firefox (just like I usually do...? )

Sonar 8.5 PE, Edirol FA-66, Behringer C-1. All instruments in my songs are VSTi's.

Interesting. Is FireFox the reason why the formatting of my posts is completely lost? I was wondering what was wrong until your post and switched to Chrome and was finally able to format my most recent post (prior to this one). Thanks for the tip!

BTW, I take it hellogoodbye is a reference to the Beatles song? If so, I'm a huge fan and the first time I spoke to Kirk I told him, "I'd love a string library that could do a beautiful rendition of "Eleanor Rigby!" Not too long after that, he made a demo of "Eleanor Rigby." Heck, if the library was entitled George Martin Strings -- or ELO Strings for that matter -- I would have been interested! I actually purchased NI Session Strings (I own several other string and brass libraries as well) for the kitsch disco cliche falls featured in their demos. I wouldn't dare compare those against Pop / Rock Strings by any means, but it's good for fun cheesy funk/disco/retro productions and realism isn't the goal.

Ok, I decided to set my cards on Kirk Hunter Strings II. However, I had to buy Kontakt 5 for that... and when I was checking that one out, I discovered I could get Komplete 8 as a crossgrade for a price that was even lower then the full Kontakt 5 version... So I bought Komplete 8. It was a too good deal to pass!

But now I don't have too much money left for Strings II, heheh, so everyone: JOIN the group buy and let's reach that 75% tier!

Congrats, as Guitarhacker mentioned there's some nice orchestral sounds in Kontakt.

He's probably referring to the LE version of VSL that's included. I think you'll be pleased.
