Got my MkII Nov 15th and sent UA the paper work poste haste.
Sent it US Postal Priority Mail so I know they got it.
Does anyone have their Duo card yet?

I also got my MkII in mid November but I haven't received the Duo card yet either. I suppose it should be arriving in about two weeks or so I would hope. I'll post a message when mine arrives. Peace... Tonecircle

Negative, Tom. I'm still waiting. I looked on their Website this morning and it say's to please allow up to eight weeks for processing whereas the form we sent in I'm pretty sure say's six to eight weeks. I guess within the next couple of weeks we should be getting it. Tonecircle

My LA-610 MkII arrived on November 16th and I sent the free UAD-2 DUO rebate form in the next day. Because of the holidays and the popularity of the promo I was not even expecting to get mine until mid-January. I would bet for those of us that sent in the rebate forms back in November our cards will probably be going out in the mail this week, now that UA is back from their extended holiday break. I just received a tracking number via email from Universal Audio for the UAD-2 DUO. Scheduled delivery is January 9th. If you haven't received anything yet I'm sure it'll be coming soon.

The Pultec is a great plug in. Every now and then you find a great "old days" story on how the Pultec has been used in the past, such as:
- Pultecs on the Main Buss to warm up the sound
- Using two on separate busses, each with it's own reverb. The first turns the low attenuator all the way to 10, the second one turns the high attenuator all the way to 10. Now you have separate controls on your reverbs for low passed and high passed versions. Put a 250 ms delay on the high passed version and mix them to taste. This is great for vocals.
- Drum buss EQ.
Just a great little hardware sounding plugin.
