Rain, don't worry, the 'H' in Freddie H stands for 'hyperbole'...however the NF plugs are very good, and of course dongle/hardware free!

So that's what the H means!! lol I know Freddie can be a bit "enthusiastic" at times, so I like to chime in and just, you know, downtone it a bit.

I like Magnetic - I had version 1, which I updated but haven't had the chance to test yet. Also bought their mastering suite last week and will probably get the $99 deal before it ends. They're indeed pretty good.

I use it and it sounds great, better then MAGNETIC 1 even though that was great too...The new Tape models are very refreshing..

I tried the demo for a few days & wasn't that impressed. All of the Nomad plugs I've tried are nothing special, MOR & generic.

I liked 1 when I tested it. First time I heard it, it really brought me back 15 years ago when I was woking w/ tape. 

Nevertheless, I have yet to find any real use for it in a project. I've tried it on a few things but always ended up bypassing it. It sounded good but I didn't think it did anything to improve the sound/mix overall. 

I'm glad I bought it and it's in my toolbox, I've upgraded to 2 - though I have yet to test that new version - I'm sure it'll come in handy someday, but it's definitely not something I'd use all the time.
