Hi Robert great sound & playing as always , vocals well to be honest with you the more I drink the cooler your vocals sound . LOL
Your off on those notes but with some vocal practice I'm certain you can make some improvments .

I thought the song sounded great , nice playing .

Happy Holidays ! Radio

I think you nailed the feel of the original tune pretty well! If you correct the vocals, don't get em' too perfect I don't like to hear robots singing either IMO ,lol. Really I hope you know I kid a lot and sometimes get in trouble for it...all in all a great job man.

Thanks Radio. I think everyone sounds better when they've been drinking. :-) It's only the sober who know better. Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks Starise. I keep working at it and no matter what I do, I always come up to flat. I thought about raising the notes up a half step, sing them without the track and just the vocal notes and see if I come out on key. lol!

Well done on the production. I'm a big Radiohead fan, and I'm sure Thom Yorke would love it. In fact, your vocal is somewhere between Thom Yorke and Hannibal Lecter which is appropriate for this song.

All the best,
Lynn

I'm totslly surprised that so many of you don't know this song! I've listened to it thousands of times...

As a vocalist, I wanted to seriously reiterate what people have said about practice.  Good singers are good because they love to sing and so that's what they do... Which means that many have been practicing since age 5 or younger. I fall into that category.  There are others--many others-- who have learned to sing out of need and have become successful through years of work.  Bono comes to mind.  Practice is tantamount.  In fact, if I haven't been singing, and I'm Out of Practice, I'm not nearly as good as I can be.

So no quitting.  Keep it up.  I like what you've done here.  It's a good cover.

Thanks Julie. I appreciate the encouragment. I keep trying but I always seem to end up flat but I still keep trying. I should have taken choir in high school. In college, sight singing was always my weakest subject. On a good note, lately I have been able to hold a tune better but still can't mesh it with music that well.

Thanks for the kind words!
