Yeah man i loved this. I used to play Rock and Roll by Zep and it took some doing especially when ya playing the riff.
Loved the guitar sound and the drums were poundin. Your mates voice did a great job for sure. Maybe tune to Eb next time to give him a helping hand to those Mariah notes :-)

A good idea. I don't know why I did not think of it.

Thanks for the kind words!

Beagle

Hi Robert,
this is a tough song to do, but I am a Zep fan and this is pretty well done.  guitars are done well, drums sound great and well mixed, IMO.  bass is good.  vocals are the weakest point in this, IMO.  this is a difficult song to sing.

thanks for sharing!

+1 is all I can say because Beagle has expressed all my thoughts.

Hey, Robert,

Dynamite job on another great cover, buddy!

This sounds very true to the original style and tone, and your buddy did a decent job on the vocals.  All of the instruments and your playing really sounds great.

In one of my cover bands, we started the night with this, then went straight into "The Wonton Song" and then "Communication Breakdown".  The crowds in the bars used to go wild right out of the gate, it was always a blast!

Really nice job on one of my old favorites, well done!
Bob

Haven't heard this one in a few years Robert! I know this wasn't an easy one to do. Nice for a quiet, Sunday morning!! Playing & performances sound good.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the good words. We used to play this 20 years ago and had a great time. Nobody seemed to care that our singer couldn't hit the notes either. We always waited till everyone had enough drink first. lol!
