Ya know, gritty vocals would be cool on this, but don't sell yourself short either. Eric Johnson and Robben Ford are pretty good bluesmen and they don't have what I would call gritty voices. Just sayin. :) Nice work, I could even take the guitar up a few db in the mix.

Cool tune, Kev.  The track is excellent, and the vocal is quite good too.  BUT, you're right: having a singer who can really belt this one will make a big difference.  Hope that group does it justice.

Hey, I remember this tune.  I think I saw you play it on Halsted street!  LOL.  Kev, I did enjoy the vocals on this.   I thought you had a cool sound.  It reminds me of someone (recording artist) but I can't put a finger on it.  That's good!  Very bluesy!!
