Very nice!

Everything is played/sang extremely well. The drums could come up a bit but this is great.

I love your stuff Scotty! Very well done!

Scott,

New mix sounds really good.  Not sure how many changes you incorporated into the new mix but the LVOX sounds a bit more dynamic and the BGV sound fuller.   Nice work.
Regards

P.S. THe guitar still sounds great.

Guitarpima, Thank you very much! I enjoy your stuff too! Markno999, Thanks for checking in for the new mix! Here are the changes I made: I panned the harmony vox, gave the kick, bass, piano and strings a slight boost and added a third harmony to the chorus as you suggested.

Scott,

Thanks for the rundown of changes, I thought the BGV had those changes and extra harmony from your previous version and hoped my memory wasn't failing yet.

Another fine production, Scotty. This is a really catchy tune, well played and produced. Thanks for sharing it!

Like the tune quite a bit. The playing sounds great.

I would take a lot of the reverb off of the lead vocal. It kinda swamps everything else, and makes those awesome guitars kinda puny in comparison.

Thanks James. I was actually going to do that in this mix but totally forgot. I guess I was too excited about my F-16. LOL.

Don't know the tune, but nice to hear you break out the guitar again. Good fun tune for sure. I might be tempted to bring the drums up a little if it were mine.

What can I say.... you guys know what you're doing. Sounds good.

I was never a BRC fan.... this song rocks...and yeah, I've never heard it before. It must not have been one of his radio hits.

Melodyne the BGV.... maybe?  That's the only nit I can hear. Just a touch to nudge them onto the right note fully.

It's a rocking tune.... Good job!

Ditto on the guitar tone.  Very well fit in the mix too.  Great vocals!!  Maybe a little more seperation on the harmony, but.. this is pretty sweet as is.

Hey, Scotty,

I don't know the original, but you guys did a killer job on this cover!  I love Buffer's vox and harmonies, all of the instrumental performances are top notch, and the mix sounds right on the money.

Really nice work, Scott!

Daryl & Bob:

Thank you both very much. I keep playing with the mix. Right now (not the mix posted) I have the drums an bass cranked up and the guitars buried. Back to the mixing board!
