Automation Envelopes Don't Match AUDIO

Hi All,

I am using X2 and I have run into a problem.
This is the first time I have has this issue. I am long time user of Sonar and I have used automation successfully on many mixes.

This time, however, I am running into a problem. I have 35 tracks in my project and probably about 35 effects as well. I can see the wave form in the viewport and I have drawn my envelope to match the wave form. It is a snare track where I have draw out all the places where I want silence.

The problem occurs during playback. The envelop seems to be out of synch with the audio engine. I move the playhead to the first snare hit and press play. Sonar X2 plays the beat, but then misses the second snare hit and plays silence when it should be playing the snare. So I move the playhead to the second snare hit just to verify that it indeed makes sound. The same thing, the snare hit plays and then the next one does not. If I let the playhead continue, however, I can hear that some of the snares do play and some are silent and some are partially cut off.

This clearly seems to be a bug in the program. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix for this?

Thanks
