Fairly Unimportant Question
I've always hated the bright fluorescent green in Console View in S3 that is used to display when an Aux send is enabled, and likewise the dayglo light blue used to indicate the send setting. But in Sonar 4's sexy new console these ghastly colours look even worse. I can't find them in the Options, Colour db (but I do as yet have only the demo). Has anybody found a way of changing these, or do I need to invest in a pair of dark glasses?

No...this is a know(n) problem to CAKEWALK and you will have to wait until SONAR 5 is released and then spend the money to upgrade for all such problems to be resolved...

Just because someone doesn't like something, doesn't make it a "problem" as others may love the colors. I can't change the color of the clock on my VCR, doesn't mean I can't tape shows. No offense, but, if the color of a little button is somehow affecting the outcome of your music.....another thread

I had a car stereo that could have a blue, orange or green backlight... I also had speakers that were almost flat response. Then someone smashed my window and took them. Now I'm sad.

Well, I'm glad you got some enjoyment out of my pain, Tony... Thanks for laughing! Hehehehehe, no I'm kidding - but the lousy SOB's took the whole lot from my car and did two other cars in the same lot one evening while I was at work... The venue hired a security guard the night after. Fat lot of good that did me...

And I did say it was a"fairly unimportant question". Looks like I'll be going for the dark glasses then.

There is an important lesson to be learned here. If Cakewalk made SONAR look TOO good, it would only encourage the bad people to break into our homes and studios, and while they were there, they would almost certainly take other things of value. Cakewalk is really on top of things. I would never have even thought to ask for such a valueable security feature. Thanks for the good work guys!

glazfolk - Yeah man, i kinda agree on this color thing. You have to remember that 40% of males are at least in part colorblind. So just think: at least we can see these issues. Also, most of these guys here don't spend 12+ hours a day in front of Sonar, and so they don't get bugged by these issues. Though i gotta tell you, there are worse interfaces out there, so it could be worse. Trust me . . . - jeffrey

In my opinion, taken overall the Sonar interface is heaps better than anything else on tyhe market - it's probably the one single thing I like best about the product. I just crave perfection!
