Is Forum search that broken or...

.. are people that lazy?

Just asking because..

I'm quite a noob when it comes to Sonar, and managaed to be one for about  five years. But now that I am having some time to go in depths with Sonar, I found there is a wealth of information on the forum regarding numerous topics.

So I somewhat stumped at times at the questions that are asked, just because the answer is not on page 1 of a Forum.

But then again.. it might just be me...

Yes.  It's that broken.  I found that out because I may be that lazy.

Actually, I couldn't find a thread that I'd started.  So, I entered the exact title of the thread and did a search.  The search function returned every other thread under the sun that had any of the words I submitted--but not the thread I was looking for.  Oh, well.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?

If you want the most comprehensive search possible Sev, bypass the forum search. Try this out every time in your web browser -

    site:forum.cakewalk.com <search query>

That will get you were you want to be more often than not.

Thanks Garry. I'll try this out.

Instead of using the forum search, I've had pretty good results with using google and it finds the actual Sonar thread.

You don't need to go to Google to see this forum is broken....just staying here would save you that extra step.

    I resent that remark.

Where do you get off saying such things?

    That's absurd...........

How do you know people are even here?

Yes, Bapu is actually a bot that churns out all that is left over after the sum total of combined human knowledge has been mined by Google...

    You have been warned.

I blasted some black noise on my stereo yesterday and drove the mime next door crazy!

(Oh yeah, and I thought the forum search was broken until I realized that the thread I was looking for had been deleted...)
