need help with a uni project

for my research project at uni, i decided that i wanted to make a plug-in, ive just started learning c++ and i have a long way to go, even tho i dont have the code done for the time i have to submitt my disertaion, it doesnt matter, as long as it work in progress, im gonna try nyquists programing language first, which is for audacity, seems to be a low level c code done in a text editor, i can continue this as a research project at honours or in my own time (which i will any way) i want to do an 1176 emulator, there is 2 h revisions at uni but they are not patched in yet, ive got most of the technical data of the h revision but if any has an 1176 hardware unit full stop, could you please be as kind to run a 1kHz sine tone through it, so i can use it for anaysis of the harmonic series in the sine tone, naturally im trying to find what makes the character of the sound, this would really help my cause, thanx in adavnce if anyone can do this, Chris
