On my second listen. I rather like this. Really like the tone you have for the guitar. I would like a bit more grit though for the slide section. Kind of has a slight Waylon Jennings vibe to it.

Robertb - much thanks on your nice reply. I actually tried a lipstick holder first for the slide but soon found it really dull (no gloss there LOL). So I found the shot glass and layed my Strat in my lap to play it. I will take your suggestion and get a proper heavy glass slide from the music store. All the best. Rimshot

ChuckC - thanks for the kind words. I enjoy your postings here as well. Hi Scotty - appreciate your feedback. I hope the bottle was empty! Kev - first time is right! The biggest problem was pushing the glass to hard on the fret board. I also could not see the frets as I moved across them so I had to play by ear. Learned alot! Thanks much.

THATSASTRAT - thanks for the listen. I used my one and only electric with is a 78' Custom Strat. This was done using GR4. Hi Paulo - thanks for the comments. I am having issues with bass levels these days and it helps to get your feedback. Hi Notnat - I appreciate your comments. Your work is great. Thanks for the good words. Best to all. Rimshot

Really nice stuff Jimmy. I agree about the bass but that is minor --- overall, it sounds great. I love the cowboy Blues feel to this number. Your vocals and the BGV's sound great. Nice one!!! Freddy J

Hi Jimmy - Oh My! This is so deep in the groove my bones are dancing! Absolutely masterful performance of a song that hits every spot and keeps on hitting! Even the builders outside stopped working, listened and then asked to hear it again! We all loved it!

Hi Malcomb! Thanks so much. Your kind words were wonderful to wake up to! I love it that the builders stopped their work to listen! How cool is that? I am on the road for a day. Will listen to your new song ASAP. All the best. Jimmy
