Just finished reading Stephen King's "11/22/63" about the use of a portal taking the person back to the exact same time and place in 1958. But every time he returns (back to 1958) everything that was changed by the previous visit is reset. I haven't read that yet. Now I need the time machine set for five minutes back, and stop myself from reading this thread!

Easiest question I've ever been asked. Time: May - November 1985, Place: Ascension Island, Just south of the equator in the South Atlantic. Best time of my life by far and depressingly can't see it being topped. How sad is that?
