Serial Number is in my Download area but No Sonic Synth 2 to Download. I also didn't get the Serial Number e-mailed to me like most sites usually do so I had to Compose and e-mail myself the Serial Number. There's also no instructions once the purchase is made. There should be a link to where I need to download the synth. This is probably the last time I order anything through esoundz.com

I've dealt with esoundz for a few years (including buying a lot of IK's software) and never really had any issues at Esoundz. It's a small company and their customer service is outstanding). In your esoundz account, you'll find Sonic Synth's Registration number which you need to enter in IK's website (http://www.ikmultimedia.com/registration/).
Then, you can get access to Down Load/Authorize Sonic Synth in your IK account User Area. It's a bit of an extra step in opening an account in both websites, but that's what you have to go through to get the "best deal".

Mesh, you should be on their payroll. There's no mention of IK Multimedia anywhere in my order confirmation e-mail. It says the product will be in the Download area. And when I go there it's just a Serial Number, with no links or instructions. I visited the IK Multimedia site because I knew off hand Sonik Synth 2 is a IK Multimedia product and just saw a Demo you can download. So that's what I did, downloaded the Demo and paid $29.99 for it. Still waiting on esoundz.com to get back to me officially with information on how to retrieve my download. Someone like you that doesn't work for them, shouldn't have to give me instructions how to obtain my download but that's why there's this forum.

I had a similar experience with Sweetwater sending me a code, but no link or instructions after a 500 dollar purchase a week ago. It took some days to unravel the mystery, but once I got some information, I was able to complete the process. Still, it was rather ridiculous after having paid for something, not to be able to know how to complete the transaction and get what I had already paid for.

Alan @ Esoundz (cust. support) is usually very promt at getting back with ANY issues. (He actually exchanged some SampleTank libraries that I wasn't happy with......instantaneously).

Synthetic, although I'm guessing that this is more of a principle thing rather than the actual problem of downloading your "paid" version, I'd still DL it and install so you can enjoy your purchase.

After Esoundz replies, you take it from there.

If you do need any help, just ask and I'd be glad to help.

Syntheticpop,

Check out my post at KVR at the link below (I'm jsp1979). I think it tells you the steps to get Sonik Synth. Mesh has the procedure pretty much correct, btw.

I hope that helps!

Absolute great stuff for $30. For the original price, maybe not. I guess that is why I never buy synths when they come out.

+1

I had my bonus expansions in my download area minutes after I e-mailed him. And when I inquired about the actual synth download, he came back w/ an answer w/in 5 minutes. Very prompt, indeed. :)

Mesh, you're right about Allen from esoundz.com He was very prompt in getting back to me with the information I needed to obtain and register my download. He did point out that it was on their Sonik Synth 2 prouduct page in red but I couldn't find that page after the deal was over because it was taken down. I missed it and didn't pay attention to it when I was in a hurry to get my order through. So, an e-mail with the Serial Number and instructions with the download link would have really helped. I don't know if they have a system that can do that but I know that Cakewalk does that and a lot of other software vendors that requires you to enter a Serial Number and register will make it convenient as possible by sending out an e-mail with the SN and instructions. But like I said, Allen squared things off so now I look forward to checking out Sonik Synth 2. Anyone who hasn't visited esoundz.com should check out their site for great sound packs and awesome deals like Sonik Synth 2's.

I got it too. I always liked SoniK Synth2, but with already having Dimension pro, Rapture and Z3ta+ in Sonar, I didn't think I really needed it. At this price though, I could not pass it by.
