Bitflipper, something went terribly wrong today, an even rarer event than the Sonar forum going down (or some would claim working correctly)...
 
We actually had almost an entire day of warm sunshine (at least in my corner of the Pacific NW - and yes, talking about west of the Cascades).

On a more optimistic note - IIRC you arrived out here from back east less than a year ago - you will find that usually, from about July 5 - mid September the weather is fairly sunny, and sometimes even warm (a sunny July 4 is a somewhat unexpected bonus).

Too true, and with the forums being down today, I was almost forced to go out in it!
 
Tomorrow I'll be passing by your area Bit (got to drive to Seattle, drop off some gear and come right back).  I'll wave.
