Project opens but does not load wav files

Sonar Producer 8.5.3, started having issues with creating punch in/out points, same with loop points. Try to enter times and after setting punch or loop times it switches back to some random numbers. Closed and reboot system, now when I open that project none of the wav files load (they exist in the project subdirectory and will play in WMP when clicked). Other projects seem to open fine, but still cannot create loop or punch points in any project. Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance.
 
**just ran CWAF and found the audio files are marked "orphaned", how do I re-associate these files with the project?
