I've been in hibernation mode a few months since moving to X1 PE, just learning all the new stuff I could - downloading video tutorials, reading, trial and erroring with my old songs brought into it and experimenting....I also, was using only X1a out of the box and never had any problems... in fact only a few days ago discovered the C and D patches, installed them and I continue to run rock solid. Now to hear of X2? whew! and yeah, we all want.... I'll drag my feet just because I'm just now getting ready to go into deep water on X1 and finally create again... but got to admit it's exciting to consider. Like said above, I hope it's a good roll-out for both CW and for us all.

Technology drives me to drink. Fortunately, it's a short drive..

Since then I've moved on to a new machine, and X1d runs without problems

I wonder if the two are related in any way Colin?

Not entirely sure.

By the time I got my new machine, I was already running X1c Expanded (D was released while Carillon were building my new box) and all of the original problems I had seemed to have been cured by the various updates & quick fixes.
